Founded by the attentive eye of a true gentleman, FONTANA Chemisier was born from the simple, personal desire to wear the perfect shirt.
At first, it was a private search: top-quality fabrics, rare weaves and constructions, cuts studied to fit the body and carefully chosen tailoring details. Each model is the result of passion, experience and an uncompromising aesthetic rigor.
That passion, nurtured like a pleasant pastime, turned into a service thanks to the meeting with a dear girlfriend long absent.
From that union a website was created for those who, like its founder, are not satisfied with the ordinary.
Here you can bring your bespoke shirt to life, choosing from fine fabrics selected in the most renowned centres of textile production, as well as collars, cuffs and customizable tailoring finishes.
Our method blends the ancient art of tailoring with the clear simplicity of the digital realm: precise measurement taking, bespoke style consultations and rigorous artisanal quality control at every stage.

Fabrics
We have an assortment of about one hundred fabrics for all occasions, from the most classic and perennial to the trendiest that we periodically renew. Our suppliers include the most renowned Italian and European mills such as Albini, Canclini, Tessitura Monti, Thomas Mason, Somelos. We offer both standard single-twist yarn fabrics and high-quality cloths made with double-twist yarns, including some extremely fine Egyptian cottons with counts to 200/2. Besides classic cotton, we offer linen and blends, denim, flannel, stretch fabrics, knits and the increasingly popular easy-iron cottons.
